Camden County Senior Citizens Service

The Camden County Senior Fund provides Grants to area agencies to deliver a wider impact of services while offering services for free or at a discounted rate to seniors over 60 who reside in Camden County. The Grants provide for ongoing transportation in the local community and surrounding areas at a significantly low rate through OATS, Home Health Care and Nursing service Grants assist with offsetting the costs of vaccinations and lab work through Camden County Health Department for those underinsured or not insured, all the while allowing our Seniors to age gracefully in the community they have been a part of for many years. In Camden County, there are several Seniors who are food insecure and the funds help to provide free food or vouchers to grocers for items not readily available in food pantries.

The Camden Senior Fund Board partners with local Senior Centers for funding to bring education, hot meals, and a place to gather, network, and socialize. These Centers provide services for income tax preparation, insurance assistance, and help navigating other services available to those in need. The Grants provide for cost-sharing to seniors who need home health funding but would otherwise not be able to remain in their homes. There is opportunity for health and wellness through the West Side Aquatics Center to keep our Seniors at the highest level of functioning they can be as well as to provide for the community.

The Grant process is open to all who provide programs that will improve the health, nutrition, and quality of life of persons who are sixty years of age or older. A complete RFP is required for Grant funding.
